Locked means "occupied"

We have one women's restroom on our floor. One stall, one sink, one lock on the door. Theoretically, you could have someone in there using the toilet and leave the door unlocked in case someone wants to just wash their hands. But 99.9% of us lock the door, cuz just well... yeah.

If I'm in there, that door is locked. When someone else comes by needing the restroom and doesn't know it's occupied, I'll expect one try of the doorknob - we've all been on that end. But when I hear try #1, then a second, then a knock I just want to fricken bite her head off. I had to say something this time. "I'll be done in a minute."

At least when I came out she as apologetic, but jeeeez, what do you think I'm doing in there? Reading a book? Knitting an afghan? Trying to figure out cold fusion? Back off and let me finish in peace! If it's that urgent, go up a floor to that restroom.

if at first you don't succeed - stop, wtf, *headdesk*, argh!, ranting, note to the world
