Whew. Monday already. I wish the weekdays would speed up and the weekends slow down. LOL
The Dublin Irish Festival and hanging out with
gaelbrady and
ladystarblade was great! Thank goodness it wasn't as disgustingly hot/humid as last year! Good friends, times, music, and chocolate dipped cheesecake. I fought the urge to spend money because I only have so much space at home and I didn't feel like carrying or keeping track of anything. LOL Maybe next year... those celtic messenger bags are hard to resist...
Gaelic Storm was awesome...some of the fans behind us, not so much. I'm happily hoarse. =)
Highlights:
- Pete and Patrick crowd-surfing - we missed groping surfing them by a mere person or two.
- Patrick grabbed some fans' hats and put them on each of the bad members -
ladystarblade's ended up on Steve and he left it sweat drenched.
- Patrick taking a pic of Steve and a 7 year old girl who had fallen asleep on the stage. Near a speaker. Talk about tired!
- "Nice day for some orange chicken".
-
Tartan Terrors doing "Chopsticks".
- There's actually a guy from WV named Johnny Tarr. LOL
Lowlights:
- Same drunk and/or annoying group as last year was right beside/behind us. Go. Away.
- Stop yelling at Jessie, she is not going to marry you just because.
- "We're their biggest fans. They love us." Puh-lease. If that were true, Patrick wouldn't say "Oh no, not you again" and roll his eyes.
- Strollers seemingly everywhere.
