accomplishment perhaps? yeah i got bored one night and submitted one of my poems to this 'american poets society' website. got a letter today saying they wanted to publish it in a poetry book.wow.sounds good to me.actually felt like i had accomplished something for once.anyways, here's the poem.i wrote it a while back.PLEASE tell me what you think of it, and if it spoke to you and why cause thats all i wanna do is speak to people i gues..ha that sounded gay.but please comment.thanks.
Worthless aspirations
a soul fallen from surrender
take this pain and make it right
its what you wanted all along..
make my heart ache one last time
i'll try to laugh yet fail and cry
you act like you never had love
such a naive state of mind..
fallen to melancholy content
once more
but you'll keep living the lie
live off your fakeness;for you i wont cry.
when that day comes
your world will fall
yet i shall find beauty
in the humor of it all.
