*happy sigh*

"The candidate really captured the feel of the time, and integrated the evidence well"
"The candidate clearly understands the pitfalls and need for caution when creating reconstructions like this, and did a very, very good job"
And, in the 'excellent' category of tick boxes, I got 'Creative and original thinking' and 'English style shows flair'.

My grade was good but not that impressive. I've done a lot better on other assignments, but I'm so pleased with these comments. I knew I'd lose marks because of my short bibliography, and I hurriedly wrote the whole thing in my hotel room in Japan so I'm really pleased that I got such a good grade for something so rushed. I'm also pleased that, for the whole module, I have a very comfortable first grade.

The task was essentially to write a story about the daily life of an individual in Middle Kingdom Egypt. Mine was a young boy in Lahun. Everyone was fuming about it because we're in final year, and it's pretty ridiculous to get us to write something like that. Anyway, I'm so happy that I wrote something entertaining that fulfilled the criteria of the task. My lecturer wrote 'lol' in one of the margins. Ahhh, this means a lot to someone who really likes writing stories ;3; It means so much. I'm so happy.
