He glared, running his fingers through my hair before pulling on it.
“You left me all alone with that she-devil, bitchface,” he said and I laughed.
“What happened, bebe?” I cooed, taking his hand into mine and rolling my thumb over his knuckles.
“She yelled at me the whole time we went to the grocery store! And then when we got home she poured it all over the floor and told Matt it was me and he just believed her because she’s got everyone wrapped around her little finger because she has a gross vagina and they’re all horny dicks!” he yelled and I laughed.
“I don’t think Flyzik wants to sleep with Brandi, babe. She’s his assistant. Plus you’re just known to do reckless shit,” I explained and he pouted.
“You believe her over me,” he accused and I shook my head.
“‘Cause I know you wouldn’t waste Frosted Flakes like that, fatty,” I told him, caressing his face and he giggled. “Plus I know she’s a super bitch too.”
“Why can’t we fire her again?”
“Because it has to be a mutual decision across the band before we kick out a member of the crew, and she hasn’t really done anything besides be a bitch to you,” I told him. “I mean, she does her job. We have no actual cause to fire her.”
“Ugh! I hate her!” he groaned, kicking his feet out next to him and laying down on the couch, pulling me against him so we were spooning. “Can we sabotage her then?”
“How?” I asked, chuckling and feeling him rest his forehead against my shoulder blade.
“I don’t know. You’re the brains of this relationship. You make a plan,” he whined and I grinned.
“Right,” I said, leaning my head back. “Why are you back there? I can’t kiss you.”
“I don’t want to kiss you. Your breath stinks,” he told me and I frowned.
“Dick,” I muttered.
“Your breath smells like Rian’s dick, whore.”
I frowned deeper, punching him in the leg.
“Kinky,” he mumbled, yawning and gripping me tighter.
“No! You can’t just spoon me and fall asleep!”
“Mhm,” he hummed, hooking one of his legs over both of mine. “It’s boyfriend code.”
“Whatever. You’re just a giant ass baby.”

“Matthew!” I sang out as I searched through the open cupboard. “Where are the poptarts?”
“I don’t know. Ask Brandi. She and Jack were the ones that went grocery shopping earlier,” he said and I scoffed.
“Brandi, where did you put the poptarts?” I asked the girl sitting on the couch, seeing her lift her head from the magazine she was looking at to put her attention on me.
“We didn’t get any poptarts,” she responded and I cocked an eyebrow. “They weren’t on the list.”
“Um, yes they were. I know for sure poptarts were on the list because I wrote it down myself. Strawberry poptarts, if you want to get technical,” I said, putting my hands on my hips. “Where is the list?”
“I threw it away. I didn’t think we would need it anymore since we bought everything on it,” she answered, flipping the page of her magazine.
“You didn’t though. My poptarts are not here,” I said, motioning to the cupboard.
“Alex, it’s not that big of a deal. Just eat something else,” Matt said, not looking up from his laptop.
“Well why have a list if we’re not going to follow it?!” I demanded, seeing him roll his eyes.
“I’ll buy you poptarts when we stop at the gas station. Just eat something else for right now,” he said and I huffed, shutting the cupboard door.
“You shouldn’t eat poptarts anyway. They’re just loaded with sugar,” Brandi interjected and I glared at her.
“You know what? I perform on a stage doing more cardio than most people do in an entire month every day. If I want to stuff my face with sugary poptarts, I damn well can!” I said, and she made a face.
“Alright, Alex! I said I would get you poptarts! Now go away so I can do some fucking work!” Matt exclaimed and I glared.
“Don’t yell at me! I’ll fire you!” I warned and he nodded.
“Of course you will,” he said and I huffed, going back into the back lounge.
“Matt’s fired,” I told Rian and Zack as I sat down between them on the couch, seeing Jack sprawled out on the other one with Grieco, still asleep.
“Again?” Rian asked. “What did he do this time?”
“He thinks it’s a game,” I told him and he laughed.
“That’ll teach him a lesson,” he agreed.
I rested my head on his shoulder, watching him play Angry Birds on his phone.

“Alex,” I heard a voice say, looking up from the now empty back lounge couch to see Brandi standing in the doorway. “Here’s your poptarts.”
“Thanks,” I said, grabbing the bag from her hand as he walked over to me.
She sat down on the couch and I inwardly grimaced, trying not to show that I really didn’t want her here with me alone.
“I’m sorry about earlier. They may have been on the list, but I just didn’t want you to be eating bunch of crap,” she said and I made a face.
“We didn’t hire you to be our mothers. We already have those, and there’s a reason we don’t take them on tour with us anymore,” I told her, not looking up from my phone. “I’d appreciate if you did your job as assistant tour manager to Flyzik, and just do what we ask. And if Jack wants to get Frosted Flakes, since he, Danny, Grieco, and Vinny all eat them, don’t be a bitch about it and pour them on the floor.”
I didn’t have to look up to know that she was frowning. I couldn't bring myself to feel bad, though, since someone needed to call her out on her shit.
“I’m sorry,” she responded, and I felt a small hand placing itself on my outer thigh. “I’m just showing you guys that I care.”
I looked up at her, seeing that she had scooted a lot closer to me than before. I glanced down at her hand on my thigh with a glare, shoving it off and moving my body further towards the armrest of the couch.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” I questioned her, watching her stare at me innocently. “I have a boyfriend, who just so happens to be one of your other bosses.”
“But you deserve so much better than that,” she said.
“I love Jack, and you batting your eyelashes at me isn’t going to change that. So if you could please keep your hands to yourself, that would be appreciated.”
“I don’t see why! You can’t even go out in public with him! You deserve a girl that you can show off on your arm and isn’t scared of what other people think,” she said and I glared. “And he’s so immature and annoying. I don’t know what you see in him!”
“I have everything I want, and more,” I informed her. “I could give a fuck what you think of our relationship. Jack is perfect for me, and I love him. End of story.”
I moved to stand up from the couch, but she grabbed my wrist and knocked me off balance, pulling me back down onto the couch.
Before I could do anything her lips were on mine, and my eyes flew open wide. It took a second for my shocked brain to register what was going on, but I finally shoved her away, watching her small body fall back on the couch and hit her head on the armrest.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?!” I demanded, getting up and staring down at her in disbelief. “I’m done with this shit, Brandi! You’ve gone too far now! I want you out of here! You’re fired!”
“I’ll tell everyone you did it!” she exclaimed, scrambling to her feet. “I’ll tell them you came on to me, and you fired me when I told you no!”
“No one is going to believe you, you crazy bitch!” I yelled at her, hearing the sound of people moving around in the hallway.
“They’ll believe me over you, Alex!” she yelled, tears rushing to her eyes as the lounge door opened.
“What is going on back here?” Matt asked, rushing in the door with Rian, Zack, and Jack behind him.
“Are you okay, babe?” Jack asked, coming to stand next to me and I glared at her.
“I want her out!” I yelled at Matt. “She’s fucking out! She’s fucking crazy! She kissed me and now she’s threatening me and I’m tired of dealing with her crazy shit!”
“What?!” Jack demanded, whipping around to glare at her. “You fucking did what?!”
I grabbed his arm, pulling him to my side and Zack gripped his other arm.
“Is this true, Brandi?” Matt asked, looking down at the girl standing on the other side of the room.
“Of course not! He came on to me!” she yelled, pointing her manicured finger at me. “I told him no! I told him no and he freaked out! He’s lying!”
“Matt, you know I wouldn’t lie to you about something like this!” I said, seriously, looking at the tour manager standing only feet away from me. “You know me better than that. You’ve known me for years!”
We looked at each other for a few seconds before he nodded, turning to Brandi.
“Alex wouldn’t cheat on Jack, especially not with crew,” he said, and her face fell as more tears streamed out. “He may not be the most professional person, but that’s even too low for him. You can pack your stuff, Brandi, and go home. I’ll book you the next flight.”
“He’s lying!” she exclaimed, continuing to point at me. “He’s a fucking lying bastard!”
“You’re a lying cuntbag!” Jack yelled at her, being pulled back by Zack. “Stay the fuck away from my boyfriend! Do you hear me?!”
“Alright, Jack, let’s go,” Zack said, tugging on his arm to pull him out of the room. “Come on.”
“Go, babe. I’ll be there in a minute,” I told him, and he looked at me before sighing and walking out of the room with Zack.
“You okay?” Rian asked me and I shrugged, shooting a glare at the girl in the corner as Matt discussed her dismissal with her.
“I’m fine. I’m just more worried about the shit she’s gonna spread,” I told him and he shrugged. “We’ve never fired a crew member on bad terms before.”
“It’ll be okay. I’m sure Flyzik will strike the fear into her heart,” he told me and I chuckled.
“Too bad she doesn’t have one.”
