Title: We're Just Aiming To Please
Rating: NC-17 Overall.
Pairing: Alex/OC, Jack/OC
Point of View: Harleigh
Disclaimer: Would I really be on here if I owned them? No, we'd be partying and having a wild time.

I hate my job.

I know, I know, everyone always says that, but you'd hate it too. Standing in a crowded ass room in a costume that's way too big for you, the head slipping down so you can barely see out of the tiny holes in it that are supposed to be the eyes. Trying to walk through crowds of little kids you can't even see, while they try to hug your legs and climb up in to your arms. Or there's those mean little brats that full force run into you, determined to knock off your head or completely kick your ass to make all their friends laugh. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love kids. Just not fifty of them at one time.

"Hey, Chuck E," I heard someone call, and I shut my eyes before turning to look at two boys sitting in a booth next to one of the party tables. One was stuffing his face with pizza, while the other was grinning at me. "Come here, rat boy!"

I gritted my teeth, walking towards the table. Just as I did, I felt something hit my legs, wrapping around them and stopping me in my tracks. I fought to regain my balance, trying not to fall and squish the kid who were hugging my legs. I stumbled slightly before standing up straight. I could hear the boys laughing at me, and I took a deep breath.

"Chuck E!" I heard little voices screech, and I looked down, fixing the head so I could see two little blonde girls standing at my feet. The one had pig tails with bows, while the other one had bright blonde curls falling down around her shoulders.. I smiled at them, putting my hands on top of their heads and patting them. "We love you, Chuck E!"

I blew them kisses as they ran away towards their mother, smiling to myself.

"You must love little kids, don't you, buddy?" I heard a voice ask, and I looked up at the dark-haired boy. "Is that what you do all day, play with little kids?"

"Shut up, Jack," the blonde said, shaking his head, and glancing up at me. I could feel a blush on my cheeks as I looked him over, before the other boy started talking again.

"I'll be your little boy," I heard Jack say, and my eyes widened. The other boy laughed, and I went to walk away, hearing a family beginning to sing happy birthday. I turned away, and felt a slap on my ass. "Let me know later, big boy."

I quickly walked away from them, embarrassment flooding my cheeks. My eyes were set on the table I was walking to, and I wasn't looking down to see a group of little boys running at me, ramming into my stomach and knocking me backwards.

I fell to the ground with a groan, feeling the head fall off. I held the back of my head, looking up at the kids to see them all staring down at me with wide-eyes. I saw a group of mom's walking over, scolding the boys and apologizing to me. I sat up, watching them drag the boys away.

"H-holy shit. You're a chick," I turned around to see Jack and the other boy still sitting in their booth. Jack's eyes were wide, staring down at me.

"Told you," the blonde said, taking another bite of his pizza before sipping his drink.

"Harleigh, are you alright?" I watched my boss run over to me, and I nodded.

"I'm fine," I told her, and she helped me up.

"Alright. Well go ahead and clock out early. You've only got like a half hour left anyway," she told me, and I nodded. I walked to the back, unzipping the costume and taking it off. I hung it up, throwing the head onto the top of my locker. I grabbed my jeans, slipping them on before grabbing a t-shirt and pulling it over my head. I slipped on my flats before putting some deodorant on and grabbing my bag, slamming my locker shut and walking back out to the exit.

"Wait!" I heard someone call, and I turned around to see Jack running up to me. His friend followed behind him, and I could feel his eyes looking me over.

"What?" I asked Jack as he walked up to me.

"I wanted to apologize for what I said. I honestly didn't know it was a girl in the costume," he told me.

"You wouldn't even be apologizing if I wasn't a girl, so what does it matter?" I asked, adjusting my bag on my arm.

"It matters because it was a rude thing to say, especially to a lady. And he needs to quit being a douche bag," his friend answered, making him pout.

"Thank you, Alex," he muttered.

"Alright then," I said, shaking my head before going to turn away.

"No, wait a second, please," Jack said again, and I groaned, turning around to look at him.

"What now?" I asked.

"I wanted to make it up to you," he said, and I raised an eyebrow.

"And how would you do that?" I asked him, and he bit his lip.

"I was hoping dinner, or something like that," he said scratching the back of his neck.

"So you called me a pedophile, smacked my ass, and now you're asking me out on a date?" I asked, and he bit his lip.

"Y-yeah I guess," he stuttered.

"Okay," I answered. "As long as we get to start over again."

He smiled, nodding. "Yeah, of course."

"Alright, I'm Harleigh Adams. I live at the corner of 4th and Lexington, in a green house with a yellow Ford Fiesta parked out front. Possibly in the lawn, my housemate doesn't know how to drive," I told him, and he laughed.

"Well I'm Jack Barakat. I drive a black car and I'll pick you up at eight," he said, and I grinned.

"Can't wait. Let me see your phone," I told him, and he handed it to me. I put my number in it before handing it back to him and giving him a wink before walking out the door.
