yup, I finally got a rename token
It looks like the majority of my friends list had an amazing Christmas, so yay for that. I got a new record player and some new vinyl (including that Thursday red 7inch I missed out on earlier in the year), a pair cowboy boots, a few cds, some gift cards and money, and most importantly, my trip to NYC/Jersey for the next few days. My mom pretends to be hip so she goes "Aren't you excited? You can lurk on all your favorite bands in their home territory. Don't turn into a stalker okay." Yes, she actually said lurk out loud. I was just like wtf mom stop plz, and my dad was like "Don't even say anything to her. Its your fault she watched that damn DVD."
Maggie and I fly into NYC tomorrow, and my other friend is flying in from L.A. We're staying at our friends apartment because hotels are for losers, and its totes cheaper. I'll have my sidekick so I'll be lurking on the internets, hopefully not missing any drama, like how I missed the Zui drama earlier. scenequeens never fail to bring the lolz.
Okay, so apparently some girl called Q101 (our rock/ alternative radio station) and gave a shout out to the FOBR boardies. Now, I could really care less about this, but the staff there are known to be pretty assholish, so I wonder if they were all like "what the fuck you dumbass" or more like "oh wow we love Fall Out Boy!" No one I know heard it, but Pete Wentz did! Related to this: Fueled By Ramen keeps moving further and further out of my favor.
I'm still doing laundry for stuff I need to pack. I need to stop being so lazy and I really need to stop playing Tony Hawk's Project 8 all the damn time :o(
