(no subject)
1) in chicago, waiting for 5-ish hours. but they have internet! (never mind that i'm paying $7 for these hours! i won't hear it!)
1a) STARBUCKS!!! how i have longed for your bosom.
never thought i'd say that.
2) seriously got a bit teary-eyed looking at the US for the first time out the plane window. but listening to "hafsól" definitely contributed.
3) you know when you have those premonitions that you KNOW you're going to cry when something happens, and even feel a bit choked up just thinking about it? like the sigur rós concert in september. i knew that the second they started playing, i was going to cry. and i did cry the first second of "glósóli" until i couldn't cry anymore. and then again, three more times, just like that.
yeah. i'm going to cry when i get off the plane and see my family.
4) mark, you're an absolute tool. i'm pretty sure i told you that i was coming home for chrischankwanzidaan.

6) lolz USA. a upper 20-something guy asked me to watch his stuff for him, so i asked him to buy me a beer as a favor. now i'm sipping a budweiser whilst i wait 5 hours for my flight to KC. suck that, drinking age. (turn 21 february.)
um. plus, i managed to order a wine on the plane, which was 21-up only. hah. me and the drinking age = not a problem.
on the downside, this probably means i'm an alcoholic. (but one that rarely gets drunk.)
