Me vs Ernesto Part Deux
So the storm was a dud. Apparently people around here are kinda pissed off because of the preparation they were told to do. Better safe than sorry right? WRONG! On the radio today, they had a contest of news reporter to blow the storm out of proportion the most. The weather stations made a statement saying we're not apologizing etc, 'we never issued a hurricane warning' blah blah. And people are still pissed.
Can't please everyone, or in this case, anyone. The storm was basically a 12hr rain storm, with little to no flooding.
Mental note: Next time i go somewhere tropical, remember to bring shorts and sandals. Walking the beach in khahis and doc's not fun.
