SO I haven't updated in FOREVER! But here's a brief status quo...starting Grad school in 10 days at Hunter in NYC. Going to live with Kim as soon as she gets back, I'll be subletting her room till then. The Brooklyn apt is WAY too far away from school to stay permanently...but it saves both of us some money in the here and now and I can deal with most anything for a few weeks. Ian is going to be with me for the first week (no, we're not breaking up, I don't get why everyone I meet keeps assuming that?). But first we have to go to the virgin islands for some R&R for a week. I'm currently at PDX, flying to NY for one night and then taking off to St. Thomas tomorrow! Yeah! I need some sun. Plus, we've been learning to Ocean Kayak so I can't wait to try that somewhere that it's not freezing in the water. Hopefully I'll get a job asap. I think I have a pretty good chance of working at the Hard Rock in Times Square. I'd rather do fine dining eventually, or actually, work in the Theatre world...but I've got a good reference from my manager at the Rogue who worked there for awhile, and it seems pretty cool, plus, anything that I can start doing right away that means cash in hand each day, is good for me until I get more settled. Other than that...I'll be back in the Eug for Civil War (God willing) and I'm so excited to see my lovely friends in NYC! And to meet Margie's new dog, who looks like she just might be the cutest thing ever created according to the MySpace video! Love ya!
