Though I suppose bring law and order to a place like this is a bit too tall a task just to celebrate the arrival of spring.

Yes, I am. There have been attempts in the past, but alas, there are many things to occupy our attention.

Though even without codified laws, there are still higher moral ones. Even a place like this can't get rid of those entirely.

Not entirely. But we are hardly a unified society.

True. Enforcement is the problem here.

Indeed. At some points attempts were made to set up a police force, but conditions deteriorated around the city too quickly. I don't even know if any of them are left.

We've been trying for a long time. Sometimes just trying to survive wins.

Immediate concerns always seem more pressing, but discomfort in the present for future gain is to be expected.

Around two weeks now, so immediately my judgments aren't grounded on much experience... but a fresh viewpoint can offer valuable insight when looking from the outside.

Indeed. I've been here longer, and as a result would probably advise survival.

I have yet to see the horrors this place has to offer, so perhaps I'm still a bit naive in my views.
