It’s so crowded today, was the first thing that popped In his mind as he looked out of the window of the café from the place he was currently sitting at. He scoffed at himself after. Of course, it’s Friday night, what did he expect? He checked his watch, 15 minutes, he thought, and proceeded to look at the clock hanging on the wall, despite having checked his own watch not 5 seconds ago. Groaning, he slumped in the seat and buried his face deeper into the pristine white scarf around his neck; it was insanely cold that day, even inside the room.
Jingling of a bell was heard, followed by a cold gust of air and suddenly there was a burly man huddled in a thick jumper, hair hidden beneath a black beanie, striding towards his seat.
“You’re 15 minutes, 34 seconds late, Kangin.” He stated rather irately, barely giving the other time to greet him. The accused man merely smiled cheekily, his eyes turning into crescents.
“I know, babe.” The man, Kangin, pecked his cheek in apology, even though his expression was anything but sorry. “It’s very cold outside, you know.”
“That doesn’t explain-“
“And crowded.”
The smaller man huffed and pouted. Kangin laughed and pinched his cheek lightly.
“Come on, Teukie. Let’s get some cakes.”
---
They finally settled back to the table after too many squabbles (Eeteuk had wanted to order iced Frappuccino, even though it was probably minus zero outside. Kangin scolded him. “But you know I hate hot beverages!”).
Eeteuk was devouring his double fudge donuts happily, humming in contentment around mouthful of chocolate goodness, while Kangin was watching him with amused grin plastered on his face from across the table. “You’ll get fat, eating something like that at this hour.”
Eeteuk rolled his eyes at the remark. “You’re eating cake too.”
“I’m already fat.”
“You’re not fat…” Eeteuk defended, which drew a raise of eyebrow and a ‘pshh…’ from the other.
“Whatever!” He stuck his tongue out at Kangin then finished his donut, chocolate cream got smudged on his lips.
Kangin clucked his tongue. “I swear you eat like a five year old.”
Eeteuk blinked confusedly until the taller one motioned at his chocolate covered lips. He raised his thumb but Kangin grabbed his wrist faster, gently prying his hand away. Eeteuk looked up questioningly as Kangin leaned across the table and brushed his lips against his own, swiping his tongue over it. He tasted sweet.
When he pulled away slightly, a very nice blush was blossoming on Eeteuk’s cheeks.
“There! All clean.” He said cheekily. Eeteuk whined and shoved his shoulder half-heartedly. “We’re in public, you dummy!”
The taller only grinned wider. “Oh, you so like it.”
This only made him blushed harder and he quickly sipped his Macchiato only to yelp the moment the scalding hot liquid touched his tongue.
“It’s hot!” He flapped his hands uselessly against his burnt tongue while Kangin cackled.
“This is why I should’ve bought ice instead!”
---
Later on, when Kangin backed him up against the wall of an alley, kissing him (with the excuse of ‘soothing that wounded appendage of yours’), Eeteuk decided that Caramel Macchiato wasn’t that bad after all.

A/N:
Starbucks, anyone? XD
This was written (like, 1/3 of it) when I was in Starbucks lol. Anyway, so sorry this is rushed like always. Oh, and also for the weird, disjointed ending? :( But I hope you enjoy!
