(no subject)
I absolutely love Florida. I have DEFINITELY not put my flip flops away. The AC is turned on and everyone is still wearing shorts. My window is open right now- one of my favorite things. My mom would be mad if she knew my window was open when the AC is on, but I'll close it soon. I just love having the windows in my house open. We are totally surrounded by trees in this neighborhood, so the view is always nice, but it just seems nicer when the windows are open. It's like driving with the windows down. Just four more days of school! It was only supposed to be three, but my stats teacher moved our test to thursday. That should be pretty hard, but everything else will be fine. We're having a yard sale tomorrow!!! I'm so excited! We used to have yard sales all the time at the old house. My mom and I love to buy things at yard sales...then we just put them in our own. That is why we try to just go to antique stores, because it's more expensive there and we're less likely to buy things. After the hurricane when the power was out, my dad cooked out almost every day. My brother would have his friends over and they would park in the yard b/c the street was packed with yard stuff. We usually cook out in the back but stuff was everywhere, so he set up the grill in the front and we ate out there...We felt like the neighborhood hillbillies, but it was a lot of fun. I told my dad we could do that again- cook out front during the yard sale and sell pancakes and eggs and have a cooler with oj...then we would REALLY be the neighborhood hillbillies :)
