Have three sets of complex experiments underway, multiple reviews from internal reviewers on the manuscript, a poster to finish before I leave town for a scientific meeting in under seventy-two hours, and the two most important meetings of the planning cycle for the Children's Hospital (regarding the actual design of the primary patient floors and the medical student lounges/on call rooms) tomorrow morning. But when a good friend calls the lab to ask if I have time for a bit of evening mischief, of course I do!
Man's got to have priorities. Even when things are sleep-what-sleep? crazy, some things in life are worth making time for, like an afternoon with mom and dad, or an evening with a good friend. :-)
