Am attempting to manually slot a list of dozens of enzyme genes into their places in biochemical pathways (chart
here) so can try to understand patterns in the metabolic pathways controlled by these genes.
Am reminded while trying to integrate the data, that biochemists often used two or three or five different names for the same enzyme, or the same chemical product, and mixed them all up in different books, charts and references, such that the exact same pathway described in two different texts/papers/charts might have totally different sets of names.
