Character's Personality: This first, most obvious part of her personality is that Trucy is happy.
It isn’t like she’s spoiled child who would always be happy because she can get whatever she wants. It’s quite the opposite, actually. Being born from one man and raised by another, Trucy has lived a rather unconventional life - not without its hardships. Her adoptive father, Phoenix Wright’s, life had gone downhill right around the time she came into the picture. So, from a grade A lawyer, he became a straight F piano player, and the two often found it hard to make ends meet.
Anyway, while most people would initially become sour and cold if these things happened to them, Trucy finds herself looking on the better side of things. A die-hard optimistic to the end. She thinks it’s silly to think about what could happen, and prefers to think of what did happen.
That is not to say, however, that she isn’t without a dark side. Clearly, her biological father “abandoning” her when she was little took a major toll on her. While she doesn’t show it exactly, she does hurt on the inside sometimes, and can become rather emotional at others. Henceforth, she has a soft spot in her heart for her father, and any mention of him invokes a rather angst-y Trucy.
She is also rather intelligent and perceptive beneath her “ditsy” shell. Much like Apollo - exactly like Apollo - Trucy has the ability to perceive when someone is lying to her, due to their nervous habits. This could be something such as biting their lip, or clenching their hand every so often. No matter how big or small the giveaway is, Trucy can find it. And before Apollo too!

Character History: Born of Zak Gramarye, her father, and her mother, Thalassa Gramarye, Trucy grew up with the blood of a magician’s running through her. Not just any magicians, but the great Troupe Gramarye, the finest bunch of magicians there ever was.
The Troupe started with just Trucy’s grandfather, Magnifi Gramarye. Eventually he retired and three young apprentices took his place; Thalassa, Zak, and Valant Gramarye. The only one directly related to Magnifi was Zak, thus he was the only one with the “perceiving” ability. He and Thalassa fell in love, got married, and had a child (guess who!) Eventually Thalassa died, but that’s a story for another time.

Actually, Thalassa had two children, Trucy and Apollo. A-yup, they’re half brother and sister.
Also, Thalassa? Totally not dead. She got amnesia, and became the singer, “Lamiroir.” But, by the end of the game, Thalassa remembered her past as a magician, but it is unknown as to whether she tells Trucy and Apollo who she is exactly. So, it's assumed that she doesn't tell either of them, and they both continue life not knowing who their mother is/if she's alive or what they are to each other.

Magnifi was growing old, and ended up living his life on a hospital bed. One day he was shot in his sleep, and the main suspects were Zak and Valant, obviously. Phoenix Wright was the chosen defense lawyer for Zak. This is when Trucy comes into play. Zak told Trucy to give Phoenix and piece of forged evidence, so he could make an escape, but not before promising that she would see him again. Trucy gave it to him, he got found out, and his lawyer badge was taken away.
Since Zak had run off, Trucy had no guardians to take care of her. Thus, Phoenix decided to adopt her on his own. Phoenix made a living as a cruddy piano player, and Trucy did magic tricks at the Wonder Bar.

[ Enjoy having at your gate (1) Trucy Wright, looking nothing short of confused. One finger is pressed against her lips, while her second arm moves to support her elbow. She's looking around, somehow under the impression this isn't modern day California. She opened her mouth to speak, when she was promptly caught off by the gate.
By a gate. ]
Hey-- I'm not a bug! I'm a woman! And a magicia--! [ And a revelation goes here. She is a magician, and she is very good at what she does. So then all this must be a...
....failed magic trick? ]
Possible Plans : Both Trucy's daddy and Polly are in the Black Priests currently. However-- when she realizes that her father isn't... exactly her father, she'll go into a pretty sad mode. But, when she recovers from that, she'll offer her best to help the Order! She can't really go out on missions, unless as a Finder (given that Polly allows her to go out) , so she'll stay inside for the most part, supplying Headquarters with any and all entertainment they'll ever need.
