[Phoenix can be found on the second level, sitting at a table. He looks to be engrossed in a game of solitaire, and though he plays it with rapt attention his expression is rather nondescript and bored.]
[He pauses once he sets down another card, looking over at her without raising his head. And it'd be a bit more believable if his voice wasn't so hollow.]
...I don't believe it for a moment. Tell me what's going on. [She frowned. She was really worried about him but...the lack of the emotion and the way he toyed with those cards.
[He picks up another card and taps it against the table for a moment before he sets it down on the play field. The way the side of his mouth twitches, it's like he's trying to show something, but fails miserably.]
That gate. I don't know, it's hard to explain, but I haven't felt the same since I came from it.
[He puts down another card, before he realizes that she's approaching him. He watches her without turning his face up, taking another card and softly tapping it against the table.]
...Mr. Wright you can trust me you know. [She placed her hands upon her hips, sighing a bit.]
Or do you just not care about my opinion? [I was a harsh jump to a conclusion but she was starting to think that he really just didn't care if she was there or not.]
[ooc: I'm so sorry for the late tag! It's been one odd week for me.]
I'm.. not sure, really. But it affected Prosecutor Gavin, too. [He sets down another card in play.] We went in to check it out and we came out... different.

But I can do something I couldn't before.
