OOC PERMISSIONS AND SCENTS
So, as you know, Terezi's a weird motherfucker. Instead of seeing, she smells and tastes. This perception gives her a rather delicious view of the world and, surprisingly, is highly accurate.
Things that apply to YOU:
1. Terezi can smell your deceit.
- If you lie enough, those lies "build up," and she can smell them. For example, her first conversation with Dave involved 3 lies: Dave was a girl, he was a "north american hollering phallus baboon," and his name was "shaggy 2 dope." Let's all just take a moment to love Dave.
Okay, we're good? Good.
After the third lie, she could tell that Dave was a "big joker" and that couldn't possibly be his name. He instantly replaces "shaggy 2 dope" with "Ben Stiller." It takes Terezi a little bit longer to realize that one was a lie, but when Dave finally says his name, she can instantly smell the truth. She still calls him a holler baboon, though. 8|
Basically: if you lie enough to her, she'll know it. Even if you were obscenely meticulous and thorough about upholding those lies. She may not be able to tear the whole thing to pieces, but she'll be able to smell some parts of it.
2. Terezi can smell YOU.
- And you smell pretty damn delicious.
She normally can smell a color associated with your character. For example, she associates each of the trolls with their blood color/font color scents. In Wonderland, if your character has any colors associated with them-- say, they wear dull hues, or a hideous tie-die shirt (i'm looking at YOU tim), she'll smell that and associate it with your character. If that's not the case, just come up with whatever.
