Personality: Norn is a fairly cheerful cat girl, with a generally upbeat attitude and a bit of a childlike naivety. She likes sleeping and eating, like your average cat does, and is usually the one to taste test Blaire's newest creations at her bakery in Arcose, though Norn's idea of what's good tends to differ than that of normal people, Leftovers being one of those, and when it turned out Leftovers were an ingredient for the Nekotreat recipe in the Hidden village, even moreso. Norn, of course, is oblivious to this, and happily announces to Blaire when they stop by her bakery again that the Leftovers had a use in that recipe. This doesn't mean Norn always likes the unusual, though; she certainly doesn't like spicy things, and can tell if something is possibly unfit for consumption by anything (see also, any food item that causes damage or 'suicide').
The catgirl apprentice is, however, also fairly childish. She might be thirteen, but she tends to act much younger than that, with her dependence on Klein or Zeldalia at times, and even once asks Klein if she can sleep with him, as she's afraid of the dark...which causes Lita to freak out on them, and Klein in the english dialogue break the 4th wall by mentioning the ESRB. She's afraid of heights as well, which causes Delsus to tease her- don't cats land on their feet? Norn's clingyness also extends towards asking Klein to hold her hand, so she won't be so scared, which also causes Lita to become jealous.
Despite her appearance, Norn insists she isn't a cat, and seems to genuinely believe she isn't, even after meeting a werecat in Poto's Forest, and despite the teasing from Delsus about cats always landing on their feet ("*hiss* That's CATS, meow! There's a difference!"). Zeldalia explains that Norn used to be a werecat, but she adopted Norn at a young age, and cast a spell on her to make her more human like. Norn remembers none of this, and considers herself to be a normal girl. One of her biggest problems because of her appearance is her ears; her official character bio states being pet behind the ears is her weakness, and for a small portion of the game, Norn has to deal with the item collector Lector trying to touch her ears, though eventually Norn gives in and allows her to.
Norn's dream is to work alongside Zeldalia as an alchemist, her current role being the older magician's apprentice. When home in the forest with Zeldalia, Norn learns about alchemy from her, and tends to also end up giving Zeldalia back massages, as the alchemist has a bad back despite her youthful appearance. When away from the forest, Zeldalia cast a spell on Norn to allow the alchemist to communicate with the party through her apprentice, though Norn doesn't remember anything when this occurs.
All in all, Norn can be a fairly sweet girl, though fairly immature and quick to become annoyed when people compare her to a cat or when dealing with Lector.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Norn has minor alchemy powers, though they're fairly limited. She can turn enemies into candy, has slight skills with telekinesis, and can shrink enemies down in size. Her limited alchemy could also be considered somewhat of a weakness, as she isn't capable of doing anything major or drastic, though turning monsters into candy is a rather amusing ability to have.
The little catgirl is also pretty immature for her age, and tends to be fairly childish and clingy, depending on others. She hates heights and is afraid of the dark, and doesn't enjoy people touching her ears.

Samples
(Please note that both samples must take place in Route_29’s setting.)
First Person Sample: [there's some sounds of hissing and meowing before Norn gets the pokégear working, at which point there's a video of one annoyed looking catgirl alchemist]
MEOW! Training Pokémon is hard, meow! Harder than learning alchemy! I know about weaknesses, but why is it still hard, meow? And I want to get badges, too, meow! I need to get my team stronger!
Hey! Other people can see this, too, right, meow? Someone give me tips, meow! I want my Pokémon to get better at battling, meow!
Third Person Sample: The first thing that indicated to Norn that something was amiss was the fact that she had awoken somewhere that wasn't Poto's Forest. Not hearing the familiar sounds of Zeldalia going about doing her work, or of the Puni that sometimes lurked in the woods, the catgirl alchemist was immediately on her guard as soon as she came to her senses, though she also quickly found that her wing staff was missing, as well as that she couldn't use her minor alchemy powers.
The second thing, which came soon after the first, was the lady that she found after exiting the bedroom, who referred to herself as Norn's mother. The lady hadn't said much other than that Norn was late getting up, and that she was going to miss out on the chance to pick out a Pokémon if she didn't go hurry up and run along to go see Professor Elm. In fact, one could say that Norn's 'mother' more or less was completely oblivious to the catgirl's protests, handing her a backpack and a Pokégear (which oddly said 'Happy Birthday!'), and sending her on her way.
"I still don't get it, meow," Norn remarked to herself sometime later, staring at the Pokéball in her hands, "What am I supposed to do with this, meow? What's a Pokémon, anyways?"
And how did they fit into this tiny little ball? Norn had thought she had heard someone remark that Pokémon came in all shapes and sizes, right? So how did they fit in this container, and how did they come out? This was all too confusing; Norn was pretty sure she was going to get a headache trying to think about all of this.
"Maybe Zeldalia's here, meow," the catgirl attempted to assure herself, "I bet she would know these things!"
Still, curiosity got the best of her, and after a brief moment of debating if it'd do anything or not, Norn pushed the button on the Pokéball, and was rather surprised to see a fox-like...thing pop out of it. "W-what are you, meow!?" Norn asked of the creature, and got a headtilt in response.
"Vulpix?"
