[Someone hadn't heard Norn's broadcast because he was too busy finishing up business in the pokecenter as he pestered the on-duty nurse to figure out whether any health measures should be taken after one's pokemon unexpectedly has eggs all over the place with an overly-affectionate ditto.

He does notice a familiar face puzzling over her map, however, as he steps back outside, both Princess and Eevee discharged with a bill of clean health]

So it is. I only arrived yesterday morning.

...though at the rate things are going, I don't know that I'll be staying long. [slightly-sour look at the pokeballs on his belt]

I certainly don't blame you...there's much to be said for a city when you've scarcely been in it a day, and have already had enough of it.

I still need to pick up some supplies and see about some warmer clothing...but if you've not found anyone by the time I've finished with all of that, I certainly would not mind the company.

Really? You'd do that, meow!? That'd be great! [On one hand, he'll be taking on a mooch as a traveling partner! On the other... she does have a fire-type Pokémon, to combat the snow and ice.]

Of course, Miss Norn. Traveling would likely be more pleasant with someone to talk to, after all. [His pokemon did their part to keep him from being eaten by the wildlife, but didn't make the best conversationalists.

He doesn't even mind being mooched off of, as his previous lot in life was being a guardian to a headstrong princess and such things came with the territory]
