So, I've been gone for a week due to last minute college trips. Oh, and I actually don't mind my backups (CSUN and Cal Poly Pomona) but I need more cuz the others are reach-ish.
Procrastinating SAT Prep :D I really don't wanna do it but my parents are making me.
Oh, and the first day of school I come home and take a nap cuz I'm tired, right? Well my brother keeps waking me up cuz OMG, if I don't study, no way will I get into UCI. Even tho my only homework was to fill out forms. Argh.
Oh btw? HOORAY FOR HOLES DRILLED INTO MY SKULL! :/
Yeah, I had dental surgery last Friday. They basically numbed the entire left side of my face, cut open my gums, drilled a hole in my jaw, then stuck a screw in there and sewed it all up. Because I am missing a lateral incisor (between canine and front tooth). Once you get past the freakiness of a) hearing them drill into your bone b) feeling the pressure of the screw going into your skull and c) not being able to swallow cuz half your throat is numb, it's actually pretty cool. :D
First impressions on classes, yay!
1st [TV/Film]: + Teacher's sense of humor, we don't spend 1/2 a semester learning about equipment (just 1 week), lots of freedom, and no homework.
- Sushi and his friend are the only people I know in this class.
2nd [Calc A/B AP]: + Nice teacher, Can and does actually teach
- Nobody to talk to (don't know many people)
3rd [Gov]: + Taught by Mr Wilson (really good teacher w/ sense of humor etc etc)
- Will it be hard or not? We shall see...
4th [B/W Photography]: + I know people!, Hooray for cameras, When we're bored we quote Russell Peters :P
- When will we actually learn to use a camera instead of looking at pictures all day?
5th [Physio]: + Taught by Scilingo :D, fun class, coloring :P
- Heard there's lots of memorization, he's supposedly very strict
6th [AP English]: + Nice teacher, sense of humor (witty), discussions (real ones)
- Half the class will have the exact same introduction (dance, leadership, omg shopping) and more than half are all applying to the same schools (UCSD, UCLA, UC Berkley), Will most likely be hard to get an A, I am probably at the bottom when it comes to rank of colleges people are considering
