Heroes theories, absurd and real

Nov 25, 2007 16:56

So the following are some Heroes theories.

Monica becomes St. Joan.
Victoria Pratt lets loose the virus or has a hand in it.
Alejandro's ability will help cure the new strain of the virus.
Maya will have to choose between Alejandro and Sylar.
Maya's power will kill an important character.
Maya gets the virus when the Company gives it to her and that is how it spreads.

And here are some absurd theories and support for it that I found on Heroeswiki.com.
Here, the theories are bolded for your eye-scalding pleasure, and everything under it is support for and times against it.

Mr. Muggles controls the group of twelve, and is the criminal mastermind behind the whole thing.
Mr. Muggles was noticeably absent when Ted Sprague and Matt Parkman broke into their house. (Unexpected)
Mr. Muggles does not bark or attempt to kill Sylar when he breaks into their home. (Distractions)
Mr. Muggles is not featured in the first episode until after Kaito and Angela have received their death threats in Four Months Later.... It is conceivable that he could have flown back in time for dinner.
Mr. Muggles is not adjusting well to his new life in Costa Verde (Four Months Later...). It could be due to his hectic flight schedule.
Noah Bennet was shrouded in mystery until discovering his first name. We are still yet to discover the first name of Mr. Muggles.

Mr. Muggles ate Claire's toe in Lizards.
If this was true it would support the theory below

Mr. Muggles may have rapid cell regeneration and therefore will be the next disciple of Adam.
Mr. Muggles was seen to be licking Claire's blood in Genesis, and as seen in Four Months Ago..., intake of blood from a evolved human with rapid cell regeneration can induce the effect of cellular regeneration, and there is possibility that the power may be retained by the individual or animal.

Mr. Muggles may have eaten Zach.
Zach has mysteriously disappeared from the plot.

Mr. Muggles is plotting to take over the world, and his plan may involve waffles.
Some say Gumby could be part of the plan.
Some say Gumby is not part of the plan.
The plan might also involve manatees and pigeons.
Some say that these suggestions are really stupid.
Others agree.

The blood of Mohinder the lizard also contains the cure for the Shanti virus.

Manatees allow evolved humans to use their powers.

Waffles are part of a conspiracy to take over the world.
Waffles appear in quite a number of places.
Kaito is opposed to them, and is also, possibly, opposed to Linderman's actions. Perhaps he said he would not like waffles because he knows that Linderman is somehow using them to influence the population.

Waffles augment evolved humans' powers.
Both Hiro and Claire eat waffles before using their power. (Hiros, Collision)
This might also explain why Charlie works at Burnt Toast Diner - she can get free waffles to strengthen her enhanced memory.
The power of waffles might be the reason Sylar takes the precaution of freezing James Walker before removing his brain. He could have mistakenly thought the latter was eating a waffle.
This is true as Sylar could smell waffles. Molly ate all the waffles for herself (leaving James with breakfast cerial) which augmented her power.

Waffles are tasty.
Hiro admits having eaten waffles, and likes them. His father has admitted to not eating waffles, and doesn't like them.

Donuts are more powerful than waffles.
After Matt Parkman ate a dozen donuts, his power begins to manifest.
The immediate apprehension of Eden shows the Company's concern over donut consumption.

Waffles allow one to achieve a euphoria sensation.
Hiro admits having eaten waffles and enjoys them.
A possible reason Isaac was able to stay clean of heroin was because he used waffles as a substitute.
He might have put other drugs in the waffles

Candice has disguised herself as a waffle

Waffles have the same power as Eden and want people to eat them so they can manipulate people's minds.
Hiro could have lost his powers struggling in a battle against waffles rather than losing them by causing a rift or not believing in himself.
Waffles don't evolve.
That's what they want you to think.
There is no evidence pointing in the oposite direction.

The smell of waffles can alert people as to the location of evolved humans.
Sylar was able to locate and execute Charlie after Hiro ordered waffles. (Seven Minutes to Midnight)
He found Molly and her parents as they were eating waffles for breakfast. However, Molly ate all the waffles before Sylar could harness their power and this actually caused Molly to gain her power. (Don't Look Back)
When Claire got a message from West saying he could smell waffles she was scared. This isn't because she thought Noah and West would meet, but because The Company could now find them. (Out of Time)
Hiro's excess waffle consumption lead to his father locating him and attempting to stop his journey to save the world. (The Fix)
Noah Bennet rushed home smelling waffles. His obvious concern was that the company would be able to locate them. Later The Company confirmed they had located Claire by sending Mohinder. (Out of Time)

If this is true, no wonder I haven't discovered my power yet; I haven't had waffles or doughnuts or seen a manatee in years.
Oh and about the Gumby references. I read it has something to do with fans who see things that look like Gumby everywhere. In the smoke here, in a cloud there ... Gumbyspotting they call it.

optimism, heroes, randomness
