I finished battle city and watched some of the orichalcum episodes. they kept repeating the episodes and it was only once a week so it was too slow. Now I'm watching it online so it's easier.

O.o" Well, I think it's very hard not becoming Avan's friend, I mean, he's kinda pure for a guy his age and has almost no prejudices. VCII feels like Persona, indeed, somehow (I mean, I haven't played the games yet, but there's this P4 anime). Well, the main character have to make bonds with the others, after all. Chie and Yukiko remind me of Rene and Magari, too. And so on.
Oops the friendship comment is in the wrong order, I meant to say that after I brought up YGOGX about how they're all "because we're friends" especially with Yusei and Akisa. They didn't exactly get to spent time together as something other than rival before Yusei decided they were friends. The friendship forming time came after. XD
