Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
Watching Slayers Try 16, I am very amused! I think Zelgadis is my favorite. Zel why do you want to change, you're so cute! The fan girls will not allow it!
Almost at the end of Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. A new Game Informer arrives, I haven't read it yet, but I flipped through and it looks like it has info on some nice RPGs... for the PSVita... which hopefully means for the PSN and PSP3k also since I don't see myself getting a Vita any time in the near future. Really I would conquer my dislike for the stylus and get a DS before getting a Vita, though I do love my 3k. I also saw that they were talking about that old Mario movie... It was pretty bad, but I can't believe that so many years later they're still criticizing it. It shall never be left to rest in peace, will it?
Back on the topic of Trails in the Sky... I'm not sure about that title since the characters don't travel by air all that often and the Sky Bandits are only minor antagonists. -.- The identity of the masked man was revealed, but I won't say who is it, even if it's easy to guess since his first appearance as his unmasked alter ego. It looks like I do get to pick my final team, but there are still many things that are not fully explained. The "main event" feels more like a side detail and the subplots that are supposed to fuel that main event feel like the main deal. It's like the orbs are at the center of the plot and yet the conspiracy alone would have been plot enough with the throne as the target.
I just completed the girl mission, the one where the boys and girls split into groups and the boys get stuck in a swear maze while the girls get to steal an airship and fight the bishie-boss. Now I'm at the basement assembling my new team, Estelle and Joshua are required... I'm taking Oliver along and I don't know who else. Maybe Agate, but he doesn't have multiple spells. Maybe Tita, she has low HP but great attacks with a portable canon. Agate is strong, but I get impatient with the lack of multiple target attacks. If only I could come up with an orb combination to solve that... Teaching the girls multiple target magic is easy, but the boys are tricky at times. Oliver learned well enough with the proper orb combination, but I couldn't get Joshua to follow his example. I guess it's a hint of the entire, guys with swords and girls with magic thing that seems to happen in RPG that I thought wouldn't happen because Joshua had more magic points than Estelle, which makes sense since he's more of an intellectual than she is, though they are both physical fighters more so than magic users... but I can't get him to learn the multiple target spells. -.-
Once again, back on the topic of the recent fight... Lorence... Is it just me or does that not sound like the name of a light haired, black leather clad, tragic past, bishounen villain? It could be a name to hide his identity I suppose, I just expect the light haired, black leather clad, tragic past, bishounen villain of a game (because we know most games have one) to have a somewhat rare name. Anyway it was a fun fight, though the tournament was still more fun, even if Kyle needs to grow some guts, c'mon Sky Bandit, don't be a pushover! Mr. Bitter Agate is getting a little less annoying at least, he was funny when he met the queen. As for the fight as the scene leading to it, hilarious.

Me: Yes, Schera, we know, you're the Silver Streak, the only legitimately silver haired character in this game. XD

Me: He's hot... What should I use as a plan of attack? *selects Sadist Whip* >:D
