The darker side marathon is about to end at Amassment. As you might have known from past blogs, my entry was Jade Shadow, which I ended up revising more than I thought I would until I was satisfied with it. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's shrines!

I like computers if I get to do new things all the time. I'm a geek so I like learning. The problem with most office jobs is that they're so repetitive, filing the same reports over and over. After I've mastered it I get bored out of my mind and it doesn't take long to get the hang of simple reports. If I'm at least moving, even if I'm doing the same thing over and over, the fact that I'm moving makes it better. Seeing a new faces of customers also makes it better, keeps it varied. It's the repetition that kills me. I could build computers all day, but I love them and they all have different specs, plus I get to heal a variety of viruses so it's not the same old thing over and over.

I did an intership at a repair shop once and liked it, but the shop wasn't hiring since they already have two regular employees and only took student interns when they needed more hands. Labor is cheap when the payment is a grade, but at the same time it felt worth it because hanging at the shop was better than sitting in a classroom. Besides, everyone gets good grades on those things so there are plenty of willing interns, I mean come on, someone's working for you for free, would you fail them?

It's been difficult to find something good, but I don't want my resume to be "inactive" for too long so I'm thinking about taking what I get and putting up with it while I keep (desperately) job hunting. I know I'm not the only one job hunting, right?

I've been trying to temp, but haven't found anything. :( It's like everywhere in the world there's a lot of unemployment. :(

Ironically my problem with retail is lack of experience, but how will I gain it if I don't get hired? -.-

Those floods were a big problem D: that sucks.

Writing for a living is so awesome. *.*
