What is love?
What is love? What does it mean to love someone?
You could say that lust is love, at least in a romantic sense. Because without sex, you would simply love them as a friend. Because they are the opposite sex then you, the love takes on some type of higher intensity or significance. Romantic love could not exist without sex.
So, the question remains, ss romantic love a fantasy that is trendy in our culture, or does it have some type of higher spiritual meaning? Why is it valuable? Why is it special?
For love to exist on this level, we have to reject atheism. Because, according to Atheism, there is no spirit, and all things are material. Love is only reproductive mate for life attachment. If you reject that love is nothing more then an animalistic ritual, you must reject atheism.
Second, to affirm that you know what love is, and that love is transcendent of mere power relation, then you have claimed to identify an objective spiritual force that everyone can relate to. This is a profound statement
