In art my class was asked to make a surrealist painting after reasearching sureallists and the dada artists. Our final drafts and writen reflections were due today. I didn't have much of a reflection but I was able to finish my painting today during the studio time we were given. My painting takes place in a room with yellow and red striped walls, a clock hanging on the wall that looks like a miniture grandfather clock, a windo with a view of the sky with clouds rolling passed, green carpeting, and a small table with pictre frame with a blurred picture in it. In the fore ground there is a fishtank. In that fihtank there is some mud with a castle sitting on top of it, but instead of a fish going to the castle there is a dragon. I really like it because I am not a visual artist but it came out pretty good. Tonight the whole highschool is having a halloween party. I have to work on my costume, but my sister is going as a sumo wrestler.
