news from Minneapolis
So I wanted to let you guys know that I'm in a school play for the semester.
It's not a musical. But the play is called HOW IT IS: THE SPACE BETWEEN YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE.
It's a campus-wide play that is about campus life at the Main U: sex, drugs, alcohol, college life, good/bad relationships, and all that jazz . I got a fairly small role in it, but i'm in the chorus as well. Now I know you're thinking, "why is there a chorus if there's no musical?"
Well, it's more like rap/poetry. While the chorus members are up there, it's like FREE MICROPHONE night at a club and you recite the words with a type of beat.
Now don't think of it is a HIP HOP rap thing, cause there's WAAAY more dialogue than the chorus stuff. It's really really cool!
Anyway, we perform on several dates: March 23rd, 24th, 30th, 31st, and April 1st. It's at the Varsity Theater in Dinkytown of the Minneapolis campus. if you're interested to check it out, go to this website to find out more about the Varsity Theater: http://www.varsitytheater.org/index.html
Anyway, classes are going well. Parties are fun!
I forgot to mention spring break! I'll be going to South Padre, Texas on Friday, March 10th for 7-8 days. We're taking a road trip down there NON-STOP and will hopefully arrive on time.
Hope y'all are havin' a good senior slide. Don't slide too much, otherwise Larson will hunt you down and make you come in for a final during senior projects!!!
