I fail to see the need for the exorbitant tax rates that are being placed upon one's personal income. However, as they are both neccessary and heavily enforced, it only makes sense not to default on such payments. Even so, there is the possiblity that people may not be able to support themselves given such taxes, a problem which is only further compunded by this issue.

As I doubt many other characters (if any) can read or understand Chinese (Kadri being the exception, 'cause Tale and I agreed on that already), don't have your character be a smartass and use one of those nifty translation sites to work out the above. So, here goes. The translation's about as close as I can get to the Chinese, but it's difficult to do a direct translation and have it mean the same thing, so there are some differences.
