UGH!
I've decided I'm leaving the longhair and japanese communities. I may even be convinced I need to cull my friends herd as well.
I am bored to tears looking thru my friends page and seeing post after post after post by total strangers in communities I have since lost interest in.
My hair is thinning and its certainly not long by the standards of most of the members on longhair, nor will it get any longer, and I haven't studied any Japanese in at least a year. I can't concentrate enough at this time. Perhaps the thyroid meds will help, perhaps not.
So now I can read the five whole people out of the 60 or so on my Flist that still post. without having to scroll thru pages of shite to get to them. At this moment...I don't even care where the silent ones have gone (and I know some of you are still here, just lurking)...my attention is sporadic enough without following people to a dozen other social platforms.
Mind you, for those that have acquired lives sufficiently busy to preclude any real interaction online here or elsewhere, I am BEYOND thrilled for you. I mean that with all sincerity.
I wish I could claim the same. A better, busier job...a busier life.
I'm not trying to be bitchy, please understand...I just plod thru my life at a high level of frustration. I need to get rid of things that frustrate me, for now. It frustrates me that no one seems to be around anymore. I'm not blaming anyone for not posting or commenting or anything. I'm just bored. It certainly isn't up to any of you to entertain me.
For those on FB, I created an account some time ago...and it seems more people are there than here. So if you're interested, go ahead and post your FB name here and I'll add you to mine...comments will be screened. I am not listed as Turelie there...and since this post will be made public, I will not post the name I am using. When I friend you I will send a note along with it so you know who I am.
Also...every post on this LJ from the last month or so, as well as every post from here on out, will be Friend's Only.
I really despise "friend collectors" and people who friend you, never tell you why or where they're from, OR bother to comment, ever.
Now they have one less reason to friend me....they'll have fuck all to read.
