Man, am I LAZY....
I usually stop in to read everyone's posts every couple of days or so. But I'm just too busy/distracted/lazy to bother posting my own stuff really.
Meh.
Acupuncture continues. Still love it tho the excitement has died down some. :) Had my first face-up session today...several needles in my ankles/feet, my hands, ears and one right below my belly button. I zoned out several times and got a shoulder massage as well. (Usually I get a back massage, but obviously if I'm laying on it that won't work so well. Today they gave me some herbal, sort of perscription only, wash to use on the eczema on my back...so we'll see how that works. $16...but she gave me the bottle now and I'll pay for it next session. I guess she really wants me to use it. Also, a specially mixed herbal prep would be $25 a week more....so $100 a week for everything... We're waiting at least until I get my raise.
Discovered two new bands....Ego Likeness and Unwoman. I've been playing both to death. Ego Likeness is officially goth music, but damned good. Saw them play live at Drac's Ball last week with M. Bella Morte (alternative rock/goth) played too....and DAMN that was a good show. Andy Deane has a great voice and not hard to look at either. (I love his lips!) I am also entirely smitten with his hair.
The curious can look up their videos on Youtube. I recommend "Find Forever Gone" and "On The Edge".
Unwoman is a one woman band of sorts...she mainly plays cello, but sings as well. She's sort of steampunkish...there's some electronica in her music, and its rather dark. I love it. She's also toured with Voltaire and Rasputina.
M and I saw Prince of Persia today. I enjoyed it very much. Jake Gyllenhall has a lovely six pack and I was really digging his scruffy, long-haired look. hehehe The girl playing lead was very pretty.
We saw Iron Man 2 last weekend. Enjoyed that IMMENSELY!
Mikey and I have seriously been slacking on the gym thing. Don't think we've been there for a month. :( I work tomorrow...not sure I can make it either. Might have to wait til Monday. We got out of the habit when my boss went to NM and I was sucked into the store with all the hours. Too damned tired to head to the gym.
Heading to Philly on Thursday for an impromptu Steampunk ball...gonna cobble together something to wear on Tues/Wed. Then, another one in Lancaster on July 3rd....will have something better to wear for that :D
Now, going to watch me some Gerard Butler....then I'm off to sleep.
