Not a very eventful day.
My fingers were bothering me yesterday....enough that I wondered if it was the beginning of some degenerative annoyance that would never leave me. However, the hands in general were pretty good today, so this makes me happy.
I went to bed last night at like 6 am. Woke up at noon to no electricity and a raging storm outside. Turns out some asshat hit a pole and took out the power for about an hour.
I was thinking I would be laying on my new Tempur-pedic bed (gift from the in-laws), in front of the window, reading Dracula by the lovely diffuse light. Lights came back on, I had some breakfast, then lay on the bed as planned. I even opened the window to let the chilly breeze in and the smell of green things after so much rain. My cat lay down with me, half under a blanket while I started reading, then I ended up putting Proof Of Life on and watched that. Good movie.
I puttered around a bit and had some dinner before M and I headed to the gym. Came home, showered and popped online. Half the On Demand channels are on the fritz....so I gave M the TV for some console gaming.
Random thought of the day: What is it about british actors and playing the piano? Is it taught in elementary school or something? A pre-requisite to graduation???
Anyhoo...work the next four days. Yippee.
