Couple of current things I forgot to mention
#1...my xmas gift from M was a new cell phone. The Motorola Droid. I love it. LOVE it. *pets*
#2...apparently have seriously underestimated the injury to the tendon in my right index finger. If anyone remembers, I hurt it last February when I had a marathon week of chainmail weaving and crocheting. It's bothered me to some degree ever since, locking up overnight in a 90 degree bent position (called Trigger finger, I think)...and then randomly a couple weeks ago I must have done something to it, because it got MUCH worse.
Locking up happening every night...but it swelled up nicely too. I couldn't wear any rings, and I couldn't straighten it completely without pain. Even the part where my finger attaches to my palm was swollen. Bending it was a force of will, or manual manipulation using the other hand. It would bend about halfway, hurt like a fucker, then curl the rest of the way. For awhile, I couldn't bend or straighten it at all.
I took to wearing a finger splint all the time, which seemed to make it more stiff, so I backed off to just wearing it overnight. That seemed to help, and it's been better, but I wrenched it today and it HURT. It still aches a little...and apparently is prone to being easily damaged again. Until it heals properly I suppose...but I'm right handed....so... *sigh*
In other random news...I finally get my teeth cleaned tomorrow morning after 4 years (mostly due to not having insurance).
I am NOT looking forward to it.
Not that anyone looks forward to a trip to the dentist, even for a common cleaning...but this time, its gonna be a doosy, considering the time span (even tho I am all but religious about cleaning my teeth).
My poor teeth...I need a cleaning, at least one cavity (probably two) filled...I need three wisdom teeth pulled, my gums grafted, and veneers. *sigh* I hope nothing worse is found.
I am SO buying some ibuprofen before I go. Preventive.
