Ugh. Need to make a trip to NYC's Fashion District for fabric. Online buying sucks. I need a minimum of 8 yards for the main part of my outfit. Fun, but not fun. :P ( Read more... )

You're lucky you live near somewhere with a fashion district. For me it's whatever I find in local stores or I have to look online. A lose-lose situation because everything good in the local stores is expensive (IF they have anything good), and online stores charge way too much to ship to Canada. :(

Ah, that sucks. BUT, you know me...and I can get to NYC...so if you ever need something I can always go look, send pics and purchase/send for you. ^_^

And living near NYC isn't all that great ;)

Hmmm, do they tax fabric incoming to Croatia? I still have to send you that durned book. :P

New York is not as exciting as you think. Its dirty, crowded and noisy. Great to visit for a weekend, but everyone I know who lived there hated it and left. Beth is an oddball, lol, she moved from Long Island to Queens...and she works in Manhattan.

I'll upload some pics just for you, sweetie. I took them in Times Square last time I went to the Metropolitan Museum.

Remember, you are always welcome to come stay with me and see the sights. Its a standing invite for someday when you can get out of there. ^_^ I would love to have you around for awhile.

And fabric shopping is definately on the list. ^_^

Can you bring a little of that beachyness with you when you come to ATL? I sooo miss it too. I slept so good with the windows open and the ocean air blowing through :( I also miss the cheg and everything about our summers in LBI..ahhh those were the days!

Yeah seriously. I miss those days on Seaside at Shaun's Grandma's house....our own little apartment, cushy beds, a block from the beach, never fighting for parking...*sigh*

Impossible to get there these days. There or the Island.

When we leave I will certainly miss the balmy august nights...that's for sure. But it's all going to change so much soon....with the thrice bedamned walmart supercenter coming in....
