So I got the call back from the biomedical research company... they don't want to work with my school schedule. But you know something, that's ok, because I actually really like my job. I like driving a school bus, as much as I thought I wouldn't. I was worried about having this inferiority complex from getting "demoted" from lab technician to "learner transportation official..." talk about your inflated job title. Truth be told, I really like it. I drive the short bus; they're air conditioned, the kids are generally better behaved, and 60 screaming elementary kids gives me a headache. Besides, I don't really do much all day at work, it's more getting paid to do my homework than working, but that's the beauty of bureaucracy.

School started; so far so good. I have a distinct feeling that my classes are going to be a lot easier than I thought they would be. Of course that statement might just come back to bite me, but so far all my classes are teaching things I already know, and from the syllabus, won't be teaching anything too over the top. I'm taking Mechanics, which is basically first semester Newtonian Physics, Chemistry, which I took last semester, Biology, which I love, and Linear algebra, which I learned in my Differential Equations class. My LA teacher's name is Slim. How cool is that. And my chemistry teacher spend 10 years teaching high school chemistry, so being in her class is like being back in high school. It's going to be a good year.

I'm going to have to see, but I might be able to graduate in 2 years. But that's only if they don't mind overriding pre-requisites. Still, here's hoping.

ASU is doubling the cost of most parking passes in the next 2 years again. Oh how I hate you all!
