i cant wait to move
Wow, all i can say is Wow, I can't wait to move! let me tell a story here, started when i first moved here in may...
Right next door to my house there is another house identical to mine. The owner of the house turned to drugs and lost everything, his wife left him with his new born child, he lost his job as an architect, and by the time we moved in the house had no power, water, cable, phone, nothing, it was all turned off. He still lived in it for a few months. For some reason he threw the majority of his furniture out the back door, a tv, couch, you name it, it was out there. Surprise surprise the mortgage company foreclosed on the house and he was out on the street. This is about June. The house has been unoccupied since. I went in once to look for a cabinet door to replace the one I broke, and it looked like a tornado hit it. Garbage strewn from one end of the house to the other. Cigarette butts all over the floor. I was waiting for a rat to jump out at me, but none did.
Fast forward to yesterday. We start hearing noise outside. Well the mortgage company finally sent some people in to empty the house, I guess they want to sell it. Now, we really have some great neighbors. Real classy people. Everyone was seeing what they could take.
There was crap all over the driveway. It looked like an eviction, and in a sense, I guess it almost was.
except they loaded it up on a trailer and took off with it.
This one old lady asks if she could take things. What does she take????
yes, you saw that right, the barefoot lady took the plunger!
Now it gets stranger. There was a refrigerator in the house. With food still in it. Since at least May. With no power. I gets really hot in Louisiana. At about 10 o'clock last night we hear somethings. Sounds like water. We look outside. There is Ricky, our lovely white trash neighbor who lives on the other side of the abandoned house. The little fella decided he wanted to try and salvage it. He's hosing the thing off. His girlfriend is calling him brave. I just shut the front door and walked back inside, I have had enough.
We are under contract for a house on the other side of the river, I can't wait. Lol. Check it out!

We should be closing next month, then we are gonna rent this place out. Hopefully we don't get any winners like Ricky renting it out!
So in closing, I made one mistake yesterday. I looked in a bucket that was in the pile. Guess what, I'm making you look too!
