[I love that, when you're using animation caps like this, you can get away with this sort of blending, and I think this icon does it flawlessly. The colors are nicely balanced, and I don't think to duplication is messy or awkward. Quite the contrary, it seems like something that could have actually happened in a animated show, and it's kind of cool.]

++ I love the use of negative space in this icon, and the text is perfect (although unreadable)and the purples of the icon are really nice! A few thing's though, the first is that her face is purple! I'm not sure I really like this, and secondly the purple on her hair I'm not sure about that ether. Lastly, the texture - I really love this texture and I think it works great on this image, however where the text is more visable it's blocking her face on the left and I'm not sure about that ether. Overall though great icon!

The only crit I have for this icon is that the text pushes her face (on the left) just a little strangely, and the texture is a little *too* harsh in some areas.

+ This icon is a bit messy, but it has much potentional. It's a little blurry, and that inhibits the icon overall, and none of the seconds are particularly contrasted correctly or efficiently. One thing I do like about this icon is the opposite bars down the sides, so creative! And it works so well. I think what you needed to work on with this icon was mainly the person as the focus of each strip. She is too blue in the bottom strip, or orange in the middle and to hard to see/washed out in the top. I think this may be avoided by making *only* the subject brighter and leaving the background. Also, I think if you make all of the colours pop just a little bit more.

If you had just multi-sliced one part of the image for example, it may have been less messy, but with all the slicy going on in this picture it's hard to kow where to look or what to do. + I really like this icon, but I feel a bit like the repeated smaller images at the side is put on because you needed to for this challenge, not because they fitted the icon. I love the coloring with the dark warm tones and the strong cold colors.

+ I like the different colors of the caps in this icon! The cap at the very top needs to be brighter, and perhaps if it had a color as bold as the other two, it would stand out more!
+ I like the shifts of colours but in none of the images is the character's face enhanced in any way, which I think would make a better effect.
+ This icon is a bit messy, but it has much potentional. It's a little blurry, and that inhibits the icon overall, and none of the seconds are particularly contrasted correctly or efficiently. One thing I do like about this icon is the opposite bars down the sides, so creative! And it works so well. I think what you needed to work on with this icon was mainly the person as the focus of each strip. She is too blue in the bottom strip, or orange in the middle and to hard to see/washed out in the top. I think this may be avoided by making *only* the subject brighter and leaving the background. Also, I think if you make all of the colours pop just a little bit more.

+ i really like the idea of this icon but i think more emphasis should have been put on Catelyn's face - maybe a bit more shadowing and I'd also add more sharpness to it just to make it a focal point.

+ The issue here is that my eye keeps shifting from one part of the icon to the other. The "duplicate and rotate" effect is a good idea, but maybe modifying slightly one of the caps (through colouring maybe ?) might prevent that "distracted" effect.
