usually being an adult is like being Sisyphus
So I wanted to get new windshield wiper blades today 'cause mine are old and starting to streak the windshield when I use them, and there have been massive thunderstorms all up & down the east coast recently, and I thought hmm, maybe it's not so smart to drive 650 miles (one way) with old windshield wipers... well, I went to go buy them, & the guy (who was SUPER nice and helpful and kind) couldn't get them on, so he sent me over to his friend mechanic who couldn't get them on & said I'd bought a defective wiper, I go back to the store, they're out of that model, I go to another place, which is tucked away so I drive around a while just trying to find it, but I do, and then I go back to the mechanic, and he still can't get it on and says I need to go to the dealer to get something that's guaranteed to work on my car. This took like 2 hours. So I am temporarily throwing in the towel and am just driving up with one streaky wiper and one new wiper and I'll pull off the road if I have to. *headdesk*
