I guess no one can win all the time
Waaaaahhhh Djokovic lost to Federer just now. I gave myself a tension headache watching it, too. I swear, the kid looked a little bit sick out there today (I wonder if he was? Probably not), and the second set was positively lackluster, but the final two sets were outstanding. Props to him for not just giving up (at his level, giving up is unacceptable, but it's not always easy to try to push through when you're losing), and the tennis was absolutely remarkable from both men in the end. I felt like earlier on it was more that Novak was playing poorly than Roger playing great, but as things wore on it really became a stellar tennis match. I just wish it had ended the way I wanted it to. Oh well. I've gotten spoiled by his having won 41 matches in a row.

I babysat this morning, and it actually went well. These kids used to be little terrors, and while they are still pretty demanding kids, they've improved SO MUCH since I last babysat for them (which was 2 years ago). It was a good morning (and I got paid, which I need after spending oodles getting the materials I need to properly do my Germany semester abroad scrapbook).
Tigers open their regional tonight... cross your fingers that there will be one sports win for me to celebrate today! I deserve it after being crushed by Djokovic, right? ;)
