Baseball (go Tigers!) and tennis (go Novak!) and Band of Brothers have been my obsessions recently. I'm almost done with Band of Brothers-- 2 more episodes to go. I wish it were longer... it's very hard to watch, but at the same time I'm completely engrossed in it. I can't fold laundry or work on my quilt or work on my puzzle or do anything else while watching it like I do with other movies/shows. I can't ever imagine being a soldier, and there is no way for me to ever repay the brave men and women who have fought and are fighting to protect me and those I love, so I feel like I should at least be informed about what happened in past wars, as well as what is going on in Afghanistan and Iraq today. Not that I am adequately informed, but I'm attempting to be.
