Ice Frustration
This is SOOOOOOOO me all over today. Because it didn't snow heavily where I am, nor stay warm, we have street ice everywhere. It covers the roads, the streets, the train tracks.....which means my trains were heavily delayed and I couldn't get to the ice rink for training. Don't worry; I haven't failed to see the irony of street ice preventing me from skating at an ice rink. Maybe I should have just skated there.....
I've got acting obligations tomorrow so I won't be able to go till Friday now when, apparently, at around 3 in the afternoon I will be hit by gail force winds and heavy snow. Basically I'll be heading home in a blizzard; marvellous.
A train on my line got derailed in the afternoon, however, and was on fire so all roads and trains were blocked/delayed/cancelled. So I wouldn't have been able to get home anyway so all's well that ends well. Especially as no one was injured on the train
