This is the part when I break free
♥ Happy March! And, since I always associate the changing seasons around a change of month instead of, like, when it actually is, happy spring! ♥ On Sunday it got up to 60 degrees here, which felt AMAZING and I was inspired to open up all of the windows and deep clean the ENTIRE apartment. Ricky luckily picked up on my inspiration and helped, so we really did get almost everything clean! We still need to scrub the bathroom and mop the floor around the front door and I also have so much laundry to do still but it feels SO good and refreshing. It dipped back down into the 30s yesterday and today so I am really glad I had the day off and was able to do so much at home.

My name is Kelly, I'm 31 and I live in Minnesota with my fiancé, Ricky, and our huge 7 1/2 month old Golden Retriever puppy, Harley. Ricky has a daughter, Althea, who is 9 and lives with her mom full time, but spends Wednesday evenings and every other weekend with us (along with vacation time and holidays). She was born with spina bifida along with a few other medical conditions so she requires some extra care, mostly related with going to the bathroom and getting around because she is in a wheelchair full time. She's in 3rd grade.
Here we are at Christmas!
My parents live close, and I have a younger brother who lives about two hours away. He just moved in with his girlfriend... I'm thinking that they will probably get married eventually because they seem like a really good fit for each other.
I currently have a full-time job and am still studying to take the nursing boards to become an RN. Please keep nagging me to stay on top of this, haha, because I REALLY need to get into my field. I have a Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) and just need to pass the exam (it's called NCLEX) to get my license and then I'll be a licensed RN and can actually work! I'm actually really mad at myself for not getting this done yet. :\
In my free time, I love baking and reading! Ricky and I also enjoy camping (in the summer) in our pop-up camper and motorcycle riding (he drives and I sit on the back). We love to hit up different microbreweries - and also go back to visit our old favorites. We actually got engaged at our favorite microbrewery!
