the sweet fruits of having a turntable.
Today i bought Kenny Roger's Greatest Hits and George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and American in Paris for a dollar.
So far, i only have those two and Julie London, some 50's soul singer, who isn't too bad.
I can't wait to pick up some Grateful Dead on vinyl.
Anybody have any records they want to donate? Or places other than thrift stores to buy vinyl
I'm pretty amped for Christmas, I'm playing djembe for the little kid christmas eve service tomorrow. I hopefully am getting a mandolin...
The Strokes new CD is alright, I really dig Ize of the World.
I would love a copy of Blonde on Blonde on vinyl, one can hope.
OH YEAH, you really need to check out John Mayer Trio. John Mayer? Yeah, he shreds, this is his blues trio. Really he's the man, plus he's cute according to the all-accountable simmons. He's like Stevie Ray Vaughan + The Meters + good studio musicians
