Hut tonight. Took Shanon and Nick to Dennys. Big Mike, Malloy and AK were there. Dave and Vicki met up with us too. I laughed harder tonight than the last 2 months combined....haha..unicorns with rainbow horns and manes of flame

that's still really hard though...doing a "best" list is mainly hard because i feel like i havent heard everything that's considered "classic" so i can't make an accurate list because it doesnt include Led Zeppelin or Beatles records.

doing a favorites list is hard because i have to decide what's more important...like, if theres 2 CDs with twelve songs each, and one of them is excellent the whole way through, but another has maybe only 8 good songs, but those songs are all better than the entire other CD, then which is better? that's whats hard for me...not deciding favorites but putting them in order. haha and why can't i know what this is for???

i do have a question though...since this is an "18 CDs for the rest of your life" type thing, does that only include full studio albums, or can it be b-side collections or greatest hits type things too? because, for example, a band like the Smiths...i'd take Best of the Smiths Vol 1 over any of their albums, because they're a band where i mainly like the "singles"...or Nirvana...Incesticide is my favorite record of theirs, but i don't count it because it's a b-sides and rarities collection

it can be anything that you can buy in a cd store...anything that is an actual cd of any kind...ep, b-sides, full album, 2 disc sets, whatever.

don't be too uptight about it...just 18 albums that you really, really like. I already know Siamese Dream, and Loveless, and few others...but I just need 18 albums....no specifics or anything. hehe
