well, if i said life's been the pretty uneventful i'd be lying through my teeth. i'm currently in hong kong and have been between here and mainland china since july 5th. i went on a tour and saw beijing (climbed the great wall) and xi'an (teracotta warriors) among many other things. i've managed to make a complete ass of myself on more than one occasion and it's been quite a nice trip thus far.
the details, i guess, will come in the future, but for now i just feel like leaving a few pictures. i didn't care enough to post all 2 some odd hundred of them, so like i said, here's a few.

from the "pearl farm." it's a cut open oyster, look closely to see the pearls. fresh water oysters have many pearls, salt water oysters have one...
the biggest drinker on my trip's shirt, well, close to the biggest drinker...

my defeat. i was only two small sections away from the top, fucking weather.
the first time actually drinking (other than wine) with the big sister. we did not succeed in getting close to substantially intoxicated, however i did manage to the next night, which also included a few drinks with my parents...

as for the embarassing/incriminating/making an ass out of myself pictures, unfortunately, i didn't take them, so i have to wait for one of the people from my tour to return from south korea before i can obtain them.
