boring update from the valentine-less politic
despite the fact that we are reading Hamlet in english class and were all told to never speak needlessly, I feel compelled to post.
My digital voice has fallen silent over the last few weeks. Despite the fact that no one really missed me because all i do is bitch and moan like everyone else on this site, it makes me feel better about myself to think that you are all worried sick.
Here I am, taking a breath of air, showing you all that I am okay, before diving down beneath the ice.
There is some drama in my life right now and it has trapped me in (hence the ice)
i hope all of you are well. I am taking a trip to washington for all of next week for Presidential Classroom (politcal debates and other cool things with smart political high school students from everywhere.) Hopefully we will decide on a replacement for Michael Powell (he is the chairman of the FCC and will be resigning in March. I am going to the Media and Democracy Program. Hence the discussion.

well, i don't very well know what you should refer to me as. P'raps something to do with all of the combinatins of shirts, ties, jackets, and pants I planned for my trip. Or the mellow music i've been diggin' lately. Here's some info:
Badly Drawn Boy- British, kind of a jazzy, piano-based bright eyes or something. 'One Plus One Is One' is on of my favorite albums of '04
Joanna Newsom- Imagine a 6 year old bjork singing beautiful, crazy llittle poems and playing the harp in a very folksy way. awe-inspiring, but some people think she's creepy.
Brigh eyes-double release a few weeks ago. both albums are swell
interpol-insound listed 'turn on the bright lights' as a great album for the mopey on valentine's day. Amidst all of the drama, i played it i the car and didn't get out until the album ended, despite the fact that it was a twenty minute ride
which reminds me, have my driver's license. I've had it for a while. i just forgot to say anything. it's wonderful, except that i don't know where anything is.
well, i hope to hear from people soon.
i'm hungry. i'll make myself eggs.
