Here's some more oil paintings of buildings! The 2nd one is Black Angus in Buena Park. There were crazy people there who talked to me while I was painting. I took a better picture of the first painting (that I posted last week). I think these pictures are a (mostly) decently accurate representation of what the paintings looks like in person.

Here is also my first oil painting homework assignment. It is technically the third oil painting that I started in that class, but the first one that I finished (still working on one of the first two). I was sick last week with some sort of weird 2-day cold/fever thing, so I had to miss class. I returned this week with a vengeance! Those upper legs didn't know what was coming!

Fun class tonight. We were using photo ref again and learning about the muscles of the back, particularly those that act on the arms. I started drawing from this one photo of some old dude. The top half of his head was cut off from the image and I felt bad for him, so I made sure to give him a whole head once again!
