Sweet new scanner

Well, now that APE is over I guess it's time to focus on school once again. That is, while I also continue to work on my next comic that's not on a deadline. So this semester I'm taking a plein air painting class again. I cannot describe how valuable this class is to me. It is invaluable! I've got a sweet new scanner that is SO FAST and make real good scans. My old one still works, and I used it to scan every page of "Pogonotomy," but it took about 30 seconds or more to scan vs this new one taking about 3 seconds. AWESOME. Anyway, here's a painting I made a couple weeks ago. It's gouache, which I just started learning how to use. This is actually my third painting with gouache. The first two are really bad.

painting, gouache, trees, csuf
