livejournal is a bastard. I spent 30 minutes trying to get the cuts to work right on the last two entries. No success. sorry.
Thurs. 6/1
I cooked all day. Chicken, and soup. yasmine and I saw a movie
Fri. 6/2
My dad came. I had half a glass of ice wine at dinner. We slept in Speyer, in Oom Imam's apartment.
Sat. 6/3
Visited the black forest (Baden-Baden). hiked and sightsaw the baths. and ate.
Sun. 6/4
Visited the Mosel River Valley (Trier), saw a bunch of Roman ruins, got a good brunch, and saw Burg Eltz, an amazing hillside castle. Adna's thoughts on German Women.
Mon. 6/5
Drove from Speyer to Erlangen. Stopped in Rothenburg, a medieval town, and sightsaw. Museum of Crime and Punishment. Meet the Sutionos. I have more wine.
Tues. 6/6
I go to Dachau solo. Well, it's Dachau.
Wed. 6/7
Go to Nurnberg Solo. see the old town and the Nazi sites. I do a lot of walking. more wine.
Thurs. 6/8
Drive from Erlangen to Berlin (Holiday Inn Express). it's 6 hours. we visit the Ollingers, and attend the German World Cup festivities, get souvenirs. .4 liters later, I discover that I don't like beer.
Fri. 6/9
I solo in Berlin again. Go straight down Unter Den Linten: Reichstag/Brandenburg gate/museums up the arse/more world cup festivities.
