There are a few things that are or have happened:
Sierra and her boyfriend, Nick, were expecting to be parents on August 5th which was last Sunday. However, little Brantley decided he likes his little nest and is straying put. Sierra was SUPPOSED to be induced yesterday, however Sierra called beforehand to ask a question and they told her they didn't have the staff available to induce her. SO.. long story short, she's still pregnant and both she and Nick are very upset; along with various relatives and friends. Poor kid. We are hoping the little fellow will make his appearance soon, to say the least. Brantley will be my great-great-nephew! HOLY HANNAH!
Douggers is, once more, going overseas to work on MRI's. I believe he leaves today. He has hired someone to come in to watch his house and Chloe, his obese meanie cat. I hope the caretaker lives through their Chloe experience unscathed! LOL!
My sister is starting to act reasonably sane around me. I think there's an ulterior motive, but haven't figured it out yet. Yesterday on the phone, she DID say she wanted me to come out and look at the computer that her daughter gave her. She's used to f**king up Apple computers; however, this one's a Windows machine. Maybe that's it?
Timmah! and Mikey are fairly boring, so not much news there. Mikey's wife DID (we hope *knock on wood*) finally get rid of the MRSA she got from Toledo Hospital. It was a very nasty strain that was resistant to most of the MRSA drugs they have out. They put a port in her chest and were pumping her full of them, and that seems to have done the trick. Hopefully she won't have a recurrence of it. PLEASE!
AND FINALLY: Classes start again on August 20th. I only need one class to get two certificates and two classes to get the associates degree in Medical Office Administration. Also am looking into getting an MS Office Specialist (MOS) proficiency certificate. Hopefully all those documents will help in getting a good, long-term position - if not in Fremont, then close-by. Not looking forward to that long drive to-and-fro, especially in inclement weather.
